Richard Labrosse was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and is fluent in both English and French. He grew up in a hockey-loving family, where the sport became one of his lifelong passions. His father played professional hockey in Europe, where he met Richard’s mother in Scotland.

A power engineer by profession, Richard’s career took him to many parts of the world. He lived in Qatar for six years, where he, his wife, and a close friend founded the country’s first adult and youth ice hockey league, helping introduce and grow the sport within the community.

From a young age, Richard had a passion for songwriting, using music as a creative outlet. After retiring, he turned his focus to another lifelong dream ,writing books. Today, he enjoys creating stories inspired by his experiences, travels, and love of adventure, sharing them with readers through his writing.

Richard has been happily married to his wife for 43 years and is the proud grandfather of five grandchildren. His greatest joys come from spending time with his family, sharing stories, and continuing to pursue his lifelong passion for writing.
